MACHINE DESCRIPTION: | The Highlead GC20518-B produces two lines of lockstitch sewing and features self-lubricated large vertical-axis rotating hooks & bases; which offer approximately twice the thread capacity of standard hooks.
The machine has a synchronized feeding system, with the needle bar and bottom feed mechanisms moving in time: to combine into a more stable motion which helps prevent uneven material feeding & ply shifting etc, and results in a better and more precise stitched seam. All standard features are included like: Dial adjustable stitch length, reverse stitch lever, large hand wheel etc. and with the GC20518-B being of a modern design, it also has an automatic lubrication system feeding all important moving parts. Typical users of this Highlead model sew shirts, uniforms, overalls, jeans, work-wear, pants & other medium weight garments and fabrics. Currently set up with 1/4″ Gauge.
